Create Your Outdoor Living Space for Beauty and Function
The knowledgeable and talented staff at Shady Lane Greenhouse can help you with your landscaping decisions in several ways. Heidi offers landscape consultation at your home, and design services for hardscaping and garden beds, including trees, shrubs, perennials, and annual flowers. Please call 262-251-1660 to set up an appointment with her.
In addition, you can visit one of our staff in the perennial yard, shrub area, or in our many annuals greenhouses to discuss specific plants for different areas of your yard and garden. We can help you make the best plant choices for your site.
Our expert installers are available for scheduling the planting of trees, shrubs, perennials, annual flowers, and even vegetable and herb gardens.
Caring for Your Gardens
Throughout the year we offer different types of maintenance services for your garden areas. Spring Clean-Up can be scheduled to remove leaves, fallen branches, and get your gardens ready for emergence of perennials, bulbs, and new planting of summer annual flowers. In addition, spring pruning of shrubs and small, ornamental trees can be scheduled. During the growing season, we have landscaping crews who can provide weekly or biweekly watering, fertilizing, and overall care of you flower beds and large container gardens to assure they are the most beautiful they can be throughout the year.
Fall Clean Up can also be scheduled to remove annuals, cut back perennials, prune shrubs, and ready your yard for winter.
Getting the Plants in the Ground!
We have a team of expert landscapers at Shady Lane Greenhouse who will take care to properly plant your trees, shrubs, perennials, flowers, and vegetables on your property.
If mulching is requested (recommended for trees, shrubs, and perennial beds), they will apply mulch and assure that everything is watered in and cleaned up before leaving. Greg and his crew always have smiles to share and approach each job with great attention to detail.
We also offer custom container garden planting – spring, summer, fall, and winter – these beautiful containers will keep your front entry or back patio colorful throughout the year. Please call us at 262-251-1660 to schedule some planting time with us!
We Help Make Special Events Beautiful
We love holidays and parties! Let us help you bring beauty into your home or garden for your special events. Poinsettias are our specialty for Christmas, we grow the most beautiful plants in all sizes and colors. Our talented staff can handpaint a poinsettia for you in a variety of colors to match your décor or celebrate your favorite football team. During the Christmas season we handmake fresh garland, wreaths, swags, and put together gorgeous pots for your porch or interior. Our Wisconsin-grown Christmas trees are available in all sizes, and we can flock them any color, deliver to your home, and set them up. Any time during the year we can create planters of all sizes to bring a garden atmosphere to any interior space for your event, or enhance an outdoor area.
