We have two exciting fundraising options to offer in 2012: FUNDRAISER FLOWERS and FUNDRAISER COUPONS. Your organization can choose either — or both — options.

Spring 2012 Guidelines

These guidelines will help you make the most of your fundraising efforts. Please read through the following information carefully; we have made some changes to improve our Fundraiser Flower program. Call us with questions. We’re happy to provide any assistance!

ORDERING

Important – Reserve your date and time now. Call (262) 251-1660.
Information Sheet: Fill out the enclosed information sheet completely and include detailed delivery directions. Please mail it immediately after you have reserved your date.
Order Forms: All orders must be on the original Shady Lane forms. Return the white and yellow copies along with your deposit. Keep the pink copy. Write only your group name and final quantities on the order form. Please leave spaces of unordered items empty.
Annuals: All annuals are sold in FULL trays of the SAME COLOR and VARIETY only.
• 4” pots sold in trays of 10, same color and variety
• 4 ½” pots sold in trays of 12, same color and variety
Perennials: Since our perennials are over-wintered outside in a cold frame, they are sometimes slow to sprout; but they are very hardy. They have an EXCELLENT ROOT SYSTEM, which is very important and provides the foundation for the plant. Please make your customers aware of this.
Deposit: Total your order and include a check for half of the total amount with your order forms. Please write your group name and “Deposit” on the check memo line.
Due Dates: We would like to receive your orders 2 – 3 weeks prior to your delivery date.

DELIVERY

Rates:

Pick-up with our truck and your driver is $60 per truck ** (Our preferred method.) **
Local delivery with our driver(s) and truck is $90 per truck
Long distance delivery (50 miles or more, one way) with our driver and truck is $130 per truck

Unloading: All orders are shipped on carts for easy unloading. Please provide enough time and help to unload.

Counting: Count your order while the driver and truck are present. Please note any shortages or extras on driver’s information sheet.

**TIP: Sort orders before your customers arrive**
Organize plants by variety and color. Place signs by each for easy identification.

Spring 2012 Guidlines

Shady Lane Fundraiser Coupons provide an easy way for you to raise funds for your organization. These guidelines will help you make the most of your fundraising efforts. Call us with questions. We’re happy to offer any assistance!

HOW IT WORKS

Contact Shady Lane: Call us at (262) 251-1660 to let us know that you intend to sell coupons.
Sell Coupons: Your organization prints and sells coupons in $10.00 denominations to your customers. You will be billed $7.50 for each sold. Your organization earns $2.50 per coupon.
Redeem Coupons: Your customers can come to Shady Lane Greenhouses at their convenience and personally select from any nursery stock (including: annuals, perennials, potted plants, hanging baskets, houseplants, shrubs or trees), garden supplies and accents.

DESIGNING & PRINTING COUPONS

IMPORTANT - Please fax us a copy of your coupon prior to printing. We can help verify that the necessary information is included.
Size: Please design, print and cut coupons on 8½“ x 11” or 8½“ x 14” size paper. (A sample is attached.)
Required Information: Be sure each coupon includes the following information:
      1) YOUR GROUP NAME – Fundraiser Coupon
      2) Redeem at: Shady Lane Greenhouses
                              W172 N7388 Shady Lane
                              Menomonee Falls, WI 53051
                              (262) 251-1660
      3) Value: $10.00 (Please list in ONE place only.)
      4) Valid April 1 – June 30, 2012.
      5) Coupon valid on regular price merchandise only.
6) Not valid with any other coupons or discounts.
7) Any unused portion of this coupon will be issued as a store credit for the balance.
Expiration Date: Please make your customers aware of the expiration date of JUNE 30, 2012.
Store Credit: Explain to your customers that if they do not use all the value of a coupon, they will be issued a store credit for the balance. No change will be given. (For example, if they spend $25 and use $30 in coupons, they will receive a store credit for the remaining $5 balance.)

BILLING

Track Totals: Please keep track of the number of coupons you sell. To make it easier, we suggest that you number your coupons. We will call you to confirm that our redeemed coupon totals match yours, prior to billing you.
