Create a winter wonderland with a flocked Christmas tree and flocked garland, wreaths, boughs and baskets from Shady Lane Greenhouses. Decorated with lights and ornaments, a flocked tree provides you, your loved ones and all of your holiday guests with a spectacular showpiece.

Benefits to Flocking
Flocking is a process which covers a freshly-cut tree or greens with downy fibers that have a natural, snowy appearance. Apart from their spectacular appearance, there are several benefits to flocked trees. First, they don’t dry out as fast. Second, they retain their needles, making clean-up easier. Third, they pose less of a fire hazard since the flocking contains flame-retardant particles.

Your Choice of Colors
Flocking has come a long way over the years, and there are many colors to choose from other than Snow White. At Shady Lane Greenhouses, we offer Sparkle, Ice Blue and Pink.

What We’ve Learned Over the Years
Balsam trees look best when lightly flocked. Fraser Fir, on the other hand, looks elegant when completely flocked. Scotch Pine stands between the two. It looks its prettiest with light to medium flocking.
